Changing Thoughts & Habits To Change Our Results

I’ve come to realize that almost anything that we are unsatisfied with in life can easily be traced back to our daily thoughts and habits.

Unsatisfied with your health and physique? Analyze your approach to sleep, nutrition, and exercise.

Unsatisfied with your relationships? Get honest with yourself about how you interact with others and what type of energy you put out to the world.

Unsatisfied with your finances? Think about what type of value you bring to the marketplace to earn income, and what type of habits you’ve developed when it comes to spending.

If you’re truly objective in your self-evaluation, you’ll probably be able to identify some key areas that are holding you back.

To change anything in life or in business, we must adjust our thoughts and habits.

Get clarity, set out with intention, follow a winning game plan, and consistently follow through with your actions.

Specifically, we can use Reflection, Goals, Strategy & Action:

Reflection

PAUSE!

Stop what you’re doing, sit for awhile…meditate.

Reflect on the above questions about relationships, finance, career, and health.

Which thoughts and habits are serving you? Which are not?

Get clear on this, so that you can set new…

Goals

Set a specific goal that outlines the result you want to achieve and the timeline to achieve it. Without goals, we have no specific direction, and without direction, we can’t accurately measure our progress.

Get a Strategy

If you don’t have to, don’t reinvent the wheel. Find a model (a course, a book, a mentor, or even a pre-existing system) that you can use to guide you in the right direction and help you learn from the mistakes of others rather than have to make those mistakes your self. Innovate where required but use existing resources to help get you started.

Take action

Don’t do whats easy, do whats right. Change is hard, growing is painful. Consistency is one of the major keys to success. When we are taking actions towards our goals, no matter how many times we fail, we continue to make progress, and progress creates belief, which ultimately allows us to live an inspired lifestyle.

Evaluate progress – take time to reflect on what you’ve done and how far you’ve come. If your strategy is not working then modify it or find a new one. If you find that discipline is an issue and that your actions are not aligned with your strategy then examine the issues and find ways to hold yourself accountable.

The Result

Are things perfect in my life?

Far from it!

I make huge mistakes all of the time, seriously, I screw things up on a daily basis.

Sometimes I falter and take a few steps back, sometimes I even want to quit.

But the key to handling setbacks like these is to brush it off and pick up where you left off. Forget where you fell back and focus on making some small steps forward before you know it, you’re back on track and way further ahead than you realized.

And the best way to do that is to use a ritual that allows you to have clarity so that you can follow through CONSISTENTLY with goals, planning, and actions that are in alignment with your highest vision.

Success is truly exponential. Consistent effort and determination create huge positive momentum – and that is truly exciting!

Life is too short to settle for less than what we deserve. Therefore, I’ve made a commitment to live with better thoughts and habits – to live with clear intention.
